Acceptance of Terms: By booking a grooming session at Bark and Bubbles, you, the pet owner, acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions regarding the services provided.
1. Acknowledgment of Risk: Pet grooming involves risks including, but not limited to, nicks, cuts, scratches, and slipping. While Bark and Bubbles takes utmost care to ensure a safe grooming experience, by agreeing to our services, you understand that accidents can occur. You acknowledge these risks and agree that Bark and Bubbles and its employees will not be held liable for such incidents except in cases of negligence or misconduct.
2. Consent to Grooming Procedures: You consent to the grooming procedures which are deemed necessary for the care and well-being of your pet. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of clippers, scissors, shampoos, and conditioners used during grooming sessions.
3. Humanity Before Vanity: We adhere to the principle of “Humanity Before Vanity.” This means if your pet’s coat has matting that is unbrushable and could restrict blood flow or cause discomfort, we will need to shave the fur down to the skin. This decision is made in the best interest of your pet’s health and comfort.
4. Pre-Existing Conditions: You agree to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or behavioral issues your pet may have. Bark and Bubbles is not liable for incidents or health problems which may arise from non-disclosure of such conditions.
5. Veterinary Treatment Authorization: In the event of an emergency or if your pet requires medical attention due to an injury occurring during grooming, you authorize Bark and Bubbles to seek veterinary treatment for your pet. Costs for such treatments will be your responsibility unless it is determined that Bark and Bubbles was negligent.
6. Right to Refuse Service: Bark and Bubbles reserves the right to refuse service to pets that may pose a threat to the safety and health of themselves, other pets, or our staff, including aggression problems or communicable diseases.
7. Cancellation Policy: We require a 24-hour notice to cancel any grooming appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the grooming service scheduled.
8. No Refund for Grooming Dissatisfaction: We do not offer refunds if you are not satisfied with the aesthetic outcome of your pet’s grooming. Our priority is the health and safety of your pet.
9. Payment and Refund Policy: Full payment is required at the time of service. Refunds for grooming services are only offered if it is proven that a pet was injured due to negligence on our part.
10. Photo and Video Release: You agree that Bark and Bubbles may use photos and videos of your pet, taken during grooming, for the purpose of marketing and promotional activities without any compensation to you.
11. Agreement to Liability Waiver: By agreeing to this policy, you waive and release Bark and Bubbles, its employees, and Morfin Enterprises, LLC from any claims of liability for the services provided except as outlined under the veterinary treatment and refund policy.
12. Modifications to Terms and Conditions: Bark and Bubbles reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your decision to continue with the grooming services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
